I know there's a couple threads about the PVR-150 card already but before I actually order one, let me ask again...the PVR-150 will be supported in the next release...is that correct?

Does that apply to the PVR-150MCE too?

Or is there any difference? The specs on the Hauppauge page look identical for the 150 and 150MCE, so I think it's the same card...the 150 comes with remote & software while the 150MCE includes only MCE drivers...but anyone know for sure?

Looks like the 150 and 500 use the same drivers...the 500 is two 150's...

Thanks...

Yes, the 150MCE should be supported in the next release. I'm currently using a PVR500MCE with no problems.

The retail has the remote you've pointed out and an IR Blaster.

Thanks for the info...now to place the order.

Hmmm....maybe a 500 would be a better choice...?[Image: rock.gif]

Decisions, decisions....

Does the PVR500MCE requires one to run Windows XP MCE 2005?

Or is it possible to use the PVR500MCE card running Win2K or WinXP ?

I have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150MCE which is running perfectly in Windows XP Pro SP1, so I guess you don't actually need to be running the MCE version of XP.

I can't wait for the next version of GB-PVR which will hopefully fully support my new card. I have my TV reception sorted out, now all I need is the software! [Image: smile.gif]
