That's strange, I don't run windowsMedia for audio here at all, and haven't for a long time. And I've never experienced any of those errors.
MP3 tags are read through a seperate dll (the ultraid3.dll) sitting in your gbpvr directory. You "shouldn't" get any errorrs reading tags, and in my case, the problems would have occured at the reading into the library stage.
Can you try running some of your music that you do have problems with in the default music player. You should get the same errors. ML2 doesn't actually "play" any music, all it does is give it to gbpvr to play - i.e. all this music plugin really is, is a (some would say) fancier way to organise your music. The actual playing bit of any of the music plugins is actually handled by gbpvr itself.
Then once we've established that we may need to go back to sub to see if we can figure out why....
