Can't Watch Live TV while Recording

First off. Thank you to the people responsible for this software. Nicely done.

Second, a few questions.

1.
I have a Plextor TV402U and a 2.4G PC. Whenever I am recording I cannot watch Live TV. When recording is active (it doesn't matter how I start it) I get the screen that gives me a choice to "Dont watch TV" or "Watch: xxxxx". When I select "Watch:xxxxx" I go back to the main menu.

I can't find a post that talks about this except for one confusing one that may have been similar and maybe fixed it by changing the overlay options. I tried that with no luck.

2.
Probably to sub. Is this unit currenly supported. I get the impression from some of the posts that it may not be. If not, will I be having more problems as time goes on.

This is generally a limitation of the type of file which this device produces. Most devices GB-PVR supports record MPEG2 video, which can be played while the recording is underway. This is not the case with the AVI files produced by your TV402U device. AVI files contain information important for playback at the end of the file. This information is not available until the recording is complete.

I havnt officially dropped support for it, but its not a mainstream device. There is only a very small handful of users here with this device, so it generally doesnt get much focused development or testing time. Its probably been a year since I last plugged my TV402U in.
