The old music and video plugin don't work anymore, do they.
What's the point of still having the old dirs, I guess I'm missing something?

I assume sub will be phasing one of those folders out. If you notice, Net Radio2, but no original Net Radio. This is most likely a transition stage as he is "tweaking" those plugins.

Yeah even i admit that is. I'd be loath to change my one to something else now (like ML2) since that would break off sorts of skins an things.

Ah sorry, I'd never used your plugin so wasnt aware your skin directory name was so similar.

I didnt reuse the existing Music Library directory because its still possible for users to use the old version of the Music and Video Library. Which version is used is determined by the <UseNewVideoAndMusicLibrary> setting in config.xml. I need to retain the old versions for a couple of releases.

I just did what I've done in the past when I needed a period of compatibility. Hence the 'Net Radio2' directory name.

May be this has been posted before. Could not find it searching the forum. With the present release 3.11 and 97.13 of GBPVR I noticed that the on the PC screen of the playlist I see how much time of the track has elapsed. That information is not visible on the MVP. I see a very short glimpse at the start, but than it disappears. I thought I had seen it on previous versions on the MVP screen, but I am not sure of it. I have switched between dongle.bin and 3.x versions. did not see a difference there.
Not a serious problem however.

I found that MVP support of the timers didn't work very well, and i had seen others turning off the timing code when using an MVP so i have done similar. It's actually coded that if if figures out you're on an MVP is turns off the timers.

I can revisit it and see if it is still the case.

Thanks for the explanation. It explains the short glimpse of a timer I see at the beginning. I must admit I never looked carefully if timing was correct. The timer is not crucial for me. I just noticed the difference.

I don't seem to be getting all the track info showing up. I get a lot of 'unknown' artists - even though the tags seem to be present when I check the file with windows explorer. Is there a maximum database size that I might be exceeding (I've got 20-30000 tracks I guess)?

Also can I play CDs with ML2? - it seems to be daft to keep the standard My Music button listed just to play CDs.

ANy answers appreciated!!!!

Are there similarities in the file/tags that don't show up. e.g same encoder. I've had problems with Xing-encoder.
