GBPVR + network shares?

Silly question as I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but if I have a shortcut folder under my Videos folder to a file server on my network (either 100mb or gigabit link, not sure what my server is using), I should be able to browse and play videos/mp3/photos from the remote machine without too much hassle, right?

Just checking.
