Not sure how to exactly phrase this problem, but when gbpvr starts up in a window, and i hit the full screen button, the window fills the screen, but the active video remains small, and in the upper left hand corner, it doesn't resize with the window. Is there something I'm missing?

can anyone help me with this issue? if i start fullscreen, and bring to windowed mode, the opposite happens, the video size stays the same, but the window shrinks, so that 60% of the screen is missing. I'd hate to have to keep using Power Cinema.

can you post a screenshot and your gbpvr.exe-native.log file?

I mean a screenshot of your small live tv, and attach the actual log.

BTW, the logs are overwritten each time you restart GB-PVR, so you need to post it immediately after you reproduce the problem (dont restart GB-PVR as you have in the screenshot above).

I know it's been a long time since I made the post, but recently I've been using gbpvr more, and the inability to resize is very annoying. In the attached picture, the dark purple rectangle in the upper left hand corner is where the live tv plays. This is what happens if i go from a windowed screen to fullscreen.

Have you tried changing the renderer? I see you're currently using the 'VMR9 Custom' option. Try 'VMR9'.

thanks, tried it, and it fixes the resize problem, but now I'm having another issue. If I close gbpvr, and open it again, i get "Error: no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

I've attached the screenshot, and log files.

It probably means the recording service isnt running. Check if GBPVRRecordingService.exe is listed in the task list.

If it isnt, it may have crashed. There are some known firewall software incompatibilities that can cause it to crash. Post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and I'll take a look.
