I started wondering because I've been stuck < v97 still, but in some ways (and since it's always been well-done, no matter what rev you have), I'm happy w/ the version I have as it works perfectly for me.

Choose the version in the 09x range you have (current being 097xx)

I'm using 97.13 and have been very happy with it ever since installing the patch to allow you to delete failed or conflicted recordings.

Sry...just finished the poll part for those who answered.

I was going off the versions I d/l'ed since I started, which goes back to 0.91...if you are pre-0.91, just shout that out.

sub would have a better accounting, but this is roughly what I have of versions (inlc updates) of each type. I'm almost positive I got a copy of every one, regardless if I used it or not.

count/version
6 / 0.91 (as of march '05)
2 / 0.92
1 / 0.93
3 / 0.94
4 / 0.95
1 / 0.96
2 / 0.97

I generally update, because sub supports only the latest version and I can generally find my way around any issues. That said, if you have a stable WAF, then you might stay, esp. if your box is a PVR-only box, because then no other updates can affect it.... theoretically :-)

I kind of feel it is my duty (and gives me a rush) to update. I took a lot of flack during the 97 upgrade from my wife, but now all is smooth again. (still a little shaky but it works great for the most part). I figure this is the only way we can help sub to keep pushing this to 1.0 and beyond. I love being a lab rat! Hey....I wonder what that tastes like.....Big Grin
