My Music causes immediate crash

I've installed the My Music RC2 plugin and it crashes my installation of GBPVR - i have included the logs - i'd appreciate it if someone could have a look though point me in the right direction...

nothing reported, but the usual fix is
1. delete music library 2
2. delete "ultraid3lib.dll" from the gbpvr directory
3. reinstall my music

you will have to pick which plugin you prefer, both use different versions of the "ultraid3lib.dll" file (my music 3 is using the latest one, not sure what version music lib 2 is using).

that sorted the first crash. Browsed the My Music menu fine (look very cool btw) tried to play something and since then i've had a "Object not set to an instance" problem. The logs are pointing at a panel error:

i've messed about with the panels a bit recently so i'm gonna try and get the original ones back in place (maybe try areinstall of My Music after too...).

actually strach that - it plays the MP3's fine - it is having a problem with the playlists i have. They were saved in Windows Media player... should they work?

yeah they should work fine, well not cause it to crash.

can you delete the "music panel" dll from the plugins dir (not sure what its called), reinstall the plugin and select "enable music panel" (or whatever checkbox it is), you may have the original panel i released like 1.5years ago which has never been updated, and that maybe causing the crash (maybe).

m3u playlists work fine, seems it's the wpl ones that are causing a problem... i only had a couple so i've changed them to m3u format...

Relating to the plugin (and GBPVR generally i guess), is it possible to call gbpvr and have it play music, say from the command line or some .NET interface?

I'm hoping to set some scheduled tasks to act as an alarm and it'd be a more complete package if the music was played in GBPVR instead of WMP....

currently no, but someone could easily write a plugin to do this.
