No channels showing- Canadian Cable

Hey Guys, im a newbie at this so please bare with me! I am using a Happauge 150 PVR here in Canada and the channels show up in the EPG but when I go to LiveTV an error shows up saying "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object," How do I go about fixing this error so I can watch channels on my computer?

Reproduce the error, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Just do whatever you did above to produce the "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" , then zip all the .log files from the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr directory, then post them as an attachment. There is a sticky post that covers how to post an attachment.

Ok, I got all the GBPVR.exe log files zipped, thats all you need right? or the config.exe ones too?

Can you try switching your renderer from VMR9 Custom to VMR9?

Do you have an MPEG2 decoder installed?

Ok, I switched it to VMR9 it works fine now. Thanks.I dont know if i have an encoder installed, under Software-MPEG 2 playback, "video decorder" it is set under system default. I should be fine to record stuff right?

Ok, thats good. If live tv is working, you most likely do have one installed.

Ok, It was just working now when I go back to LiveTV I get another error which says: No connection could be made because the target machine activately refused it?
I have attached the log files again
