IconView_Photo.png is not needed. (You always have a thumbnail)

Added to wiki:

ScreenName is the screen's title eg "Music Libary".
ScreenName text special elements should be located at 10,5.

With Lists being located in the Y direction at 60, and the location of the text field of 5 in the Y direction, that leaves a vertical area of 55px for text.

The ScreenName text field will be 600x55. This give the max font size of 35 for a screen name before issues with lists or buttons.

(Give this a try and see how it works out.)

Also, in the "Title Bar" area, is there allowance for plugin related text? (Time, sort mode, ect.)

If so, maybe text size in x direction needs to be limited.

(I won't update the baseskin.xml file with "35" pt text for ScreenName yet, but you can change it on your own.)

Quote:I uploaded a very Blue skin with images in the skin root, _CommonImages and Resources. I started to move plugin unique images into the plugin directories.
I has almost all plugins.
This skin can be used when skinning plugins for CommonImages
Just used your skin to base the CD Player skin on, very good. Be nice if these xml's can be changed to the CommunitySkin image names.

Even got the My Series - what versions?

Use that "InfoRapid" program I mentioned and you can search replace an entire directory.

(BTW 200x160 preview jpg??, that is not a 720x480 ratio, shouldn't it be 240x160??, and yes mine isn't even that.)

Is "old" by today's list, but that is MixMan's reference that I converted a week or so ago. It is closer to the standard now than the original.

Yes you're right, have updated wiki.

TextPad 4 / InfoRapid helps, but still need testing/tweaking. If we, and by we I mean any GB-PVR user, can convert/produce a skin.xml file then it shoudn't take too long to have a full set of core and plugin screens. I've done 3 plugins already Smile

Will see if I can get to some more tonight. I probably can bang out Weather and one more...I don't have a capture device in my laptop either.

I am going to pull all the textstyles I can from the core plugins to the baseskin.xml and document that the best that I can.

Just an FYI for those who are keeping up on this.

MainMenu with Tiekes GreenOrb task images (the most "home cooked" task images we have here)
AllTaskImages directory with the distribute bat file.

OSD with with BlueMCE2 mages and my lastest OSD. ProcAmp and Menu skins
My current LiveGuide with 7 channels is OK also.

Do you want to take over the OSD then?

I haven't started on it yet, even though I marked it on the wiki.
