Just seen an article in the Oct 2006 issue of Computer Buyer magazine (UK), titled "Alternatives to Windows Media Centre". Along with Myth et all there was GBPVR in all it's glory - deserving a full page write up with screenshots of the TV Guide and Libary plugins!
GBPVR received 4 out of 5 stars and 'best on test' in the conclusion. Said "the most impressive media centre alternative is GBPVR". Mentioned the way it 'just works', how reliable it was and the fact it was, (in their opinion) amazinaly, a free download.

, I don't think the reviewer (if the same person did all the media centre reviews) knows his/her subject matter very well. Also the multiplexer is only needed for digital cards but the review gives the impression you need it even with analogue cards. I can see Sub getting more visiters knocking at his website.
