I disabled the startup option for the GBPVR tray icon as a test and rebooted the PC. I did not like the configuration, and not wanting to have to restart the GBPVR tray icon every time I rebooted, I entered msconfig again to enable it. For the first time in four years since I have begun playing with msconfig, IT WAS NOT THERE! There is no option to enable the tray icon.
So, as another test, I let the showtime for one of my reoccuring shows begin, then entered the GBPVR folder and manually started the tray icon. It began recording AT THAT POINT. In other words, if the tray icon is not present, the recorder will not work.
I desperately need to figure out how to get the tray icon back into the startup menu on msconfig. If anyone can help, please do!
THANKS!
