I don't see why separate threads would interfere with the different version of EWA. It would make it much clearer as you can ideed have one thread for each version - one for the included version, and one for the latest. Or whatever is appropriate...


Each topic in its own thread. Simple as that.

Much easier to find and browse through the different topics without having to wade through all sorts of discussions when looking for a specific problem or solution.

Possibility to subscribe to the topics of interest and skip the rest.

I really believe it would be easier for you too (and everybody else) to keep track of the different issues if they are in there own threads.

With a lot of work I suppose, the different issues could be broken down by topic, so a lurker could find only the threads that pertain to that topic...

I just was stating how I like to work and what works easiest for me to monitor and reply to issues, questions and requests.

It's not that I couldn't do it if it was seperate......I know myself well enough that I would loose track and would not be as responsive.

Not that it really matters, but I like having one thread. Even though I may not be having a problem that is being discussed, it doesn't mean that I won't have that problem in the future (which I will vaguely remember reading about and can reference at that time).

You can never be too informed. I guess I am just a geek in that way though.

BTW, Firefox Beta 2.0 rocks! I am getting inline spell check as a I write this. Very cool stuff.

Hey ujb, further to the - please make streaming work on my cellphone. This site has lots of videos that even at the 350 kb bitrate still come through windows media player with no stops.

That's a cool website. I was playing around with it on my cell phone. Videos look great, too bad it kills my battery like there is no tomorrow

Yeah no probs with a normal browser in both vlc and wmp (and across the internet).

I tried that command for vlc, and it doesn't stay up. The only change I made was to add quotes around the c:\folder location of vlc\vlc.exe

It starts, but then shuts down.

Any special type of video file I should be using, Xvid, Mpeg2??

It runs in the background....did you check your task manager for a VLC process?


And...actully I was working with sean off-line with the same request.....so you should not have got a PM.....you can help as well.....
