Plugin help for a newbie :)

I just installed GB-PVR and I'm really happy, but I was looking at the plugins and they all look really cool. The theatre plugin looks really nice and the instructions seem so simple and straight forward, yet I'm not getting it. The download zip file just has an executable that seems to install a dll file in a directory, but when I open up the gbpvr configuration and look at plugins I don't see the theatre option there. I tried a few other plugins, so maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Hmm it should be in there, did you download and install the commonGBPVRutilities files also?

Bone,

First check to see if you downloaded the COmmonGBPVRUtilities.dll and put it in the root gbpvr folder. If you did, zip up your logs and post them and we will take a look.

Not sure if this is relevant but I ran across an issue yesterday where no plugins would show up unless the "plugins Enabled" was checked on the plugins tab of the config screen. kind of obvious but at one point this was not checked and the plugins were still active, then they were not and I had to check this option.

I'm sorry I wasn't aware about installing the dll file. I installed the dll file and it's showing theatre and I clicked settings and put in my zip code and clicked autoupdate, but when it says
Error: object reference not set to an instance of an object

Hopefully I grabbed the right dll, I did a search in google for the file, which took me to wiki and I download CommonGBPVRUtilities_EasyInstall.zip in which the dll file was there, placed it where you guys said and theatre showed right up.
You guys really are the most helpful place I've ever seen from helping me select the right parts to my PVR to helped me with the plugins. I really am loving gbpvr.

At what point does it give the "Error: object reference not set to an instance of an object"?

The first instance when I'm in GB-PVR and I select theatre it will give me this error on the screen and then I'll see nothing, but a blackbox no the the top left it says theatre.

I reinstalled everything and it's working now. Love the plugin, it's really an awesome plugin and very much appreciated the work put into it.

Cool, glad its working. It sounded like it was a skin file problem.
