I think your biggest problem is you are lacking a decent mux filter.

What version of Windows are you running? XP SP2 or higher is needed to use the Microsoft DVR-MS mux, which works well with ATSC. Alternatively, you'd need to download and install a recent Cyberlink mux filter.

For some reason its not wanting to use the Microsoft DVR-MS mux, so I'd suggest downloading and installing the Cyberlink MPEG mux.

Where did you find the B2C2 BDA driver as I have been unable to locate one? I have a similar card which I can test out with GBPVR if I had the driver.

Thanks for your help. Transport Streams are fine for what I am doing, so I when I found out that was an option, I switched to capturing transport streams instead of mpg files.

Now my problem is that scheduled recordings fail to change the channel - they just record the last channel used. I can change channels when viewing live tv.

I installed the NativeUtilities update, but that didn't fix it.

Any ideas on why the scheduled recordings doesn't automatically change the channel, or any suggestions on how to run a batch file that uses the live tv channel changing routine?

You'll have problems selecting that mux option. Its only included for my debugging purposes, and doesnt work like the other mux options. You'll find things recording frequencies being recorded, or recordings not occuring at all with this mux option selected.

You really need to be using either the DVR-MS mux or Cyberlink mux.

None of the muxes record correctly (although they do appear to change channels). The only option that records anything of substance is the Transport Stream option, but it doesn't tune the correct channel.

Is there any way of tuning from a batch file? I know the transport stream is not a supported option, but it is the only thing working for me now.

Can you post the logs when you're using the Cyberlink mux?

Cyberlink mux or DVR-MS mux are going to be your only option.

The last set of logs was a mixture of different things I tried. I just tried the Cyberlink mux again, and here are the latest files.

Sorry, I dont know. I'm at a loss.

It may be buggy BDA drivers - we've seen that before, and these are very new drivers. You had indicated that live tv kind of worked but was really choppy, with broken sound. This same stream of data feed in a mux may not be good enough for the mux to do its job.
