I only ever record a maximum or 5 programs or so before watching and deleting. I'd like to see the program descriptions for each program without actually drilling right down to the individual to the program. e.g. When I click on CSI I’d like to see all the programs recorded with a description of each program underneath (good to for seeing which one’s I’ve watched already).

I understand this could make the screen too cluttered and hard to navigate if there are 20 plus recording per program, but who has that? I don’t know if I’ve seen any skins that provide this function either, is it even possible?

The video archive plug-in shows the description of the selected program without having to drill down into it.

Jeff

P.S. I have several programs with 50 plus episodes saved. You never know hen the kids will want to watch an old episode...

Yeah, I've tryed VA. Are there any skins that provide that function? I like the ease use of the default recordings plug in. VA just seems to have too much over the place. At the end of the day I only want to watch recording, nothing to fancy.

This may or may not give you what you want, but in the new v0.98.8 release of GB-PVR the default Recordings screen will show you the subtitle name in the summary if it is also avilable. For example, when you click into the CSI group where you saw CSI in the top left of each recording in previous releases, you'd now see "CSI: subtitle name". The subtitle name is usually the episode name.

Thanks very much, I have upgraded. I'll check tonight whether UK DVB EPG has this info, I think it does.
