What is the limiting factor which effects the responsiveness of the remote control for the MVP ?
is it the power of the mvp itself, the network connection, or the actual system running the gbpvr software, the fact that the mvp is already playing music or video etc etc.
On my system the remote is usable but you do need to be patient as its about 1 - 2 secs per click of the remote
just going through the main menu its reasonably ok as you get used to it, but once you start using it on something like the jukebox to select tracks it becomes a nightmare, as you constantly end up clicking past the tracks you want to select or selecting the wrong one.
Is there anything I can do to improve responsiveness, as for me its the last area of gbpvr where there seems to be problems which would stop my wife from using it, and therefore being able to record programs or listen to music herself. At the moment I still get the oh its a computer thingy you'll need to do it Â
ie the great nirvana for all these PVR systems is "can non-technical folk use it just like changing channel on the TV"
any suggestions gratefully received
