I'm thinking on getting one of these MVP units and was wondering a few questions.
Can you set up recording from it?
Is the tv out quality better than an ATI 9600?
can it look like GBpvr or that cheesy skin Hauppauge gives you?
is the remote able to operate farther than the 4ft given to the pvr250 remote?

Thanks in advance for the answers

Yes, you can setup recordings. Infact you get the full GB-PVR interface.
The TV quality is better ATI 9600.
You see the normal GB-PVR interface, not the bland Hauppauge interface
The remote operates at the 6 meters or so I need it to.

Hey zooforce,

The MVP box works very well with GBPVR. Its worth getting one in my opinion.

This is the only PVR software I know that can natively support all of it features via the MVP.

I agree. It's not sexy, but combined with Sub's excellent GB-PVR it does a great job. My only real complaint is the slow remote processing, but otherwise, I'm very pleased.
