If you think we are overcharged for MVP's that's nothing compared to XCards. They go for US$99 over there, but the only vendor I can find in NZ is asking a whopping NZ$485 !!!!

Scratch that - just found a supplier in Auckland at NZ$330 so that's brought it down to the PVR250 price - but it has the tv-out functionality of a PVR350!

Can't see there being $130 in freight! Pixelview playTV@P7000 is the cheapest option I can see in NZ at around NZ$160, but that has no TV out nor MPEG decoder. Non-issue if using MVP clients though.

I didn't realise the price of xcards in Australia had fallen so much. When i bought mine they were still retailing around $300.
