1. Use recorder test to see if you can get a picture - it's in your gpbvr directory
2. enable lastgraph for later diagnostic
3. use another app like Media Player Classic to access your tuner card to see what filters you need and how to set them up.
4. reconstruct the graph yourself to see what it should be like.
For example, it was using Media Player Classic which showed me really what filters were required for my AIW to work.

I just got a new laptop and I'm trying to setup my Plextor TV-100U on it. Previously I had it working decently well and recording and previewing/livetv on my old laptop.
Now, with the same exact settings, same version of GBPVR as before, same SoftwareRecorder, etc, I get this error message in my GBPVRRecordingService.log:

Hi, sorry but I didn't read all the 117 pages so excuse me if it was already answered.
I'm trying to use your plugin, but in my Config, I just have that plugin: WDM Recording Plugin (broken plugin loading pass-through). And when I try to click "setting", it ask me to save before, but even if I save, it always say that...
Hello,
I have a compro videomate gold tuner card.
I have installed the cards drivers & the ATI AVIVO encoder.
Live TV & recording works with the ATI muxer.
However, it only works after I run the compro software & tune a channel through that first.
Then I can close the compro software & run GBPVR.
Then everything is ok.
If I reboot I have to run the compro software again.
I know this is a dup, but is it possible for someone who has their ATI TV Wonder working post a screenie of their plugin config page? I have Live TV working but not recording.... I'll post my current setup when I get back home (@work now).

thx...
Same thing that happened with mine.... I never could get it work so I bought a PVR150 and that solved all my issues. Some people have gotten them to work, so I wish you the best.

Yeah, I've got a PVR500 in my dedicated HTPC and this is just the old TV card I have in my main box, so it's not uber critical, I just would not mind having a backup GB-PVR system. I know there are better cards out there but sometimes you just gotta work with whatcha got.
