Screenie of my current settings. Right now I'm getting the "double audio" echo effect... been playing with it and I know I can get it back to normal again but this doesn't even start to write any sort of file with this setup....

Hi SickBoy,

Double echo effect is because of the "Preview mode requires...". If you turn it off, the echo effect is gone. As far is I know, you should not use "Recording and Playback use...." Also the "Ati CC Multiplexer" should not be used. Replace it with the ATI Mpeg Multiplexer. Otherwise there is no recording output.

Hope this helps.

PatLPG,

Found this by searching with results shown per post, not per thread (see Advanced Options):

The "(broken plugin loading pass through)" is because the GB-PVR plugin code detects and loads the wrong type of classes in the plugin. (It'll still work, but sub needs to change some code in the GB-PVR core to remove the error message).

You need to add the recording source, then Save and Exit the config app. When you come back in you'll be able to edit the settings. This is a limitation of how the plugin architecture works, and requires changes in the GB-PVR core to fix.

So, basically, ADD a new source, drop down to the WDM Recording Plugin, and then click Edit. It will give you an error dialog, click OK. Then, add and configure your Guide plugin, and hit OK. Completely exit out of Config, re-open it, go to your new source you added, and hit Edit one more time. NOW you can change your options.

Hope that helps.

"WDM Recording Plugin (broken plugin loading pass-through)"

What does it mean? How can I solve this?

Thank you

I've set to PAL_B but it always records at 29,97 fps (NTSC). Do you know if there is any trick, patch,or other to fix this problem.
Thank you

Interested in whether this has any chance of working. So far, no luck.

If there were a list of cards that are known NOT to work, that would be useful.

Logs attached for trying to get the Fusion card to work.

OK, changed my settings to the below. I get actual recording files now, but they're black, no picture or sound. Any suggestions?

Ok, I might be crazy but I actually got this to work now, at least for video. With those same above settings, I have video, but only get audio if I manually unmute my "Line In" mixer when the recording has started. Wasn't there a config option to prevent it from doing this?

I have downloaded the Software Recorder files from Normanr and installed them in the proper GB-PVR folders. I have also dowloaded the ATI Avivo Transcoder For All, but don't know where to paste the ATI Avivo Video Conterter, please advise. Thanks.

You don't paste it anywhere, you select it for the video and audio encoder and as the muxer. In SickBoy's post above that's using the Avivo Transcoder.
