New Version 676 available from the Quick Update entry on wiki... (when it's up)

(The version number hasn't been posted because the wiki was down when I uploaded this version)

Many folks have trouble getting ZProcess to load with previous settings. Now, The very, very first thing ZProcess does, is calls Regedit to silently grab all the reg information for ZProcess and store it in the ZProcess (third party/ffmpeg) directory. That way a person can see the state of the settings before ZProcess even tries to load itself...

It's possible that if, after an upgrade, and ZProcess won't load properly, a previous setting would be incompatible with the new version. In this case one could email me the text file, and I can try to simulate your settings on startup, and maybe catch an error...

What file is this? I cannot get it to run and I've lost my screen setup in the process.

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by screen setup...

The latest file is available directly from my own webspace, (found in my signature) It's version 676. Also download Hunter.exe from my signature.

Quote: ZProcess does not read the config.xml, so any modifications to conversion profiles there, will not be used. Instead, configure your profiles from within ZProcess

Can I assume then that provided the profiles are set in Zprocess (and presumably they are "similar" to those in config.xml (but not identical - more tuned to MVP etc?) that I can actually STILL use GB-PVR’s Built-in Transcode menu, only Zprocess will intercept it and crunch the numbers, but everything else remains the same?

The link "ZProcess.zip (Full Zip of ZProcess and Hunter)" in the wiki page doesn't go anywhere. Is there another location for ZProcess.zip that works?

The wiki's been having a lot of problems. I can't check it until it becomes more stable..

For now, I've added to to my own webspace. Please check the links in my signature

No. The defaults that ZProcess use when you start it for the very first time are based on all the same defaults that are in the config.xml. And on the transcode button in the video plugin withing GBPVR, those values are not actually MVP centric...

The default values for Trans2MVP are identical to the NTSC values in the config.xml for MVP transcoding... ( had to choose one of the them...)

Defaults means, data used only when other settings have not yet been recorded... If you wish to reset the individual profiles parameters back to default, just click 'reset' (PAL users will still have to change the framerate and Output Aspect Ratio...

ZProcess does not actually access your paramaters from the config.xml. That means, and changes there will not be reflected in ZProcess

Slightly newer ZProcess released, only adding PAL 720x576 aspect ratio to the output dropdown listbox...

Version is 677 (see below)
