Thanks!
I have sent you a private message with the password.
You can remove your email address from your post.

Please remove the genre’s I provided in I-xmltv.ini, and replace them with ones that are available in your country and language.
If they are not removed, the North-American genre’s in the ini will be loaded into your gbpvr database. This would create a very long list of un-needed genre’s in your gbpvr.db3

In my opinion.
The best way to add the FIND channel to the lineup (while trying out different settings) is by creating a second capture source in config.
Clicking on “Test.bat” (instead of dropping a file on it) will create “Find.xml” containing only the find channel.
By configuring a second capture source, and using the single-channel epg file, you can empty / update its epg without affecting your primary lineup.

Jack. Wrote:I have the TVGuideSupercharger package installed, I've been using it all summer. It's great! I got it because I wanted the "star" rating for movies, but it has more functionality than just that. I use it to avoid dupes when recording a season of programs, and it will even let me search for premiers by using " *" (space star) as a search argument.

Sounds good.
Since you're a TVGuideSupercharger user, here are some special instructions.
First download and install the "TV Listings" from the wiki.
Next, download Beta-2.zip from post #9 and extract it to your C: drive. (the password is in your private messages).
Then copy or move I-xmltv.exe, I-xmltv.ini & Test.bat from C:\Find\ to your C:\I-xmltv folder.
Open C:\I-xmltv\I-xmltv.ini and choose a channel number and name that is not in your lineup.

Edit "Test.bat" to look like this, then click on it. "Find.xml" file will be created.
You can change the ini settings and click on Test.bat all you want. there is no need to download the primary epg each time.
Code:
CD /d "C:\I-xmltv\"
I-xmltv /cc
move I-xmltv.xml Find.xml

Create a second capture source in gbpvr config, (simply select your existing capture card a second time) and point its xmltv epg source to "C:\I-xmltv\Find.xml"
Update "only" the second capture source EPG. You will now see a FIND channel using the channel number you selected.

You can "remove" the channel, or empty the secondary capture source at will, without affecting your main lineup.

Remember to restart gbpvr each time you change something, or the changes will not show in TV Listings.

When you're happy with the way things are working, find this section, and add these lines to your existing "C:\Program Files\devnz\UpdateEPG.bat".

Code:
:end
REM *** If you need to add commands to UpdateEPG.bat, do it below this line ***
[B]CD /d "C:\I-xmltv\"
I-xmltv /cc
move I-xmltv.xml Find.xml[/B]

REM ***Do not add commands below this line***
CD %GBPVR_DIR%
IF %EmptyEPG% == 1 gbpvr -OnlyEmptyEPG

:exit

A quick test to see if things are working is:
skip back in the find channel until you see my list of TV Show favorites.
Hit "OK" on the remote and select "Find More".
Select the "Any Words" button on the left side of the screen, and it will list the shows.. Smile
Look for "Pilot" by choosing "In Subtitle"

I-xmltv v1.3 (build 10-09-06) is available on the wiki.
The stand-alone genre search channel is included for people not using TVGuideSupercharger. But international genre lists were not included with the release, because none were received during beta testing.Sad
