Hi there,

Just came back to GBPVR and I must say it's really come a long way. Great work!

3 Questions:

1. While using the MVP, I can pause live tv, but cannot FF or REW, is this by design?

2. My video is noticably cropped on the MVP, much more so that with the standard MVP software. I played with some of the settings in the .XML file and the menuing system looks good now, but the video is definitely cropped on all sides. I remember the MVP software came out with a fix for this and I assume that would apply here as well; but I don't think it is. Suggestions?

3. Is there any documentation anywhere on the BB regarding what buttons do what on the remote for MVP and the keystrokes for the PC interface?

As for the choppyness, are you using a wired connection (10 or 100) or wireless?

cRopped, not cHopped.  Playback is seemsless, just looks like the picture is zoomed in a bit.  Loosing about 1" of video on all sides.

But anyway, 100mb hardwired.

I'm working on re-enabling the FF/RW in livetv on the MVP right now...

The video will be show exactly the same way on the TV as it is with the original Hauppauge software. The original software is still used for actually displaying the video.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'll switch back to old MVP to verify it's the same. Time to go back to hauppauge and complain. Perhaps this was reintroduced in the most recent beta by accident.

Thanks for the other stuff.

BTW, will you also support the number keys to move 10%, 20%, etc. like the MVP interface? Thought I'd never use it, but I do... Anyhow, if I try to skip through say 60% of a 30 minute .mpg using GB-PVR, something bad happens and causes the MVP to reboot.

No, I hate the number key percentage thing.

How can one get to the middle or end of a 2 hour movie quickly? For instance, sometimes the resume feautre doesn't work.

If you've got the manual skip set to minutes, then just 120 then the skip key. This'll jump 120 minutes into the show.
