Not sure if I understand how this should all work, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that auto aspect ratio will never work when recording off a set top box? If that is the case, any chance of adding support for hitting F7 with your remote when using USB-UIRT as input device? Big Grin Or am I better off leaving aspect ratio at "fill" and use my tv's aspect control?
I'm not always right

The issue you're thinking of is that the auto aspect ratio does not work with analog capture devices. This is because all the analog capture devices always record files with the header set to 4:3, regardless of whether the transmission was 4:3 or 16:9.

Ok, I've added this for the next release.

Hi, I finally got around to testing this. I can't get it to work. In config I can teach gbpvr my remote key mapping for aspect, but nothing happens in gbpvr when I try it. Attaching ini file for learned commands, and gbpvr.exe.log with attempt to press aspect on the remote at 2006-09-28 21:25:22 and 21:26:55.
Did I miss something obvious, or might this just not work?
