Is GB-PVR compatible with this tv tuner card and this remote?
Also, can GB-PVR record in mpeg-4 or, if it can't, is there a plugin that will allow it to?

No its not compatible with that capture device. It lacks the required hardware MPEG encoder.

It is compatible with that remote.

Its on board hardware that is responsible for converting the incoming signals to MPEG2.

This device has no MPEG encoder hardware and instead relies on software to convert raw video to MPEG1/2/4. GB-PVR will not work with these older types of device.

oh. is there any other program like GB-PVR that you know of that would work with this TV tuner? would it work with Media Portal?
