Media Center Remote mod:1039 Probs

Have you tried looking in your device manager to see if there is any issues with starting the device or possibly driver issues? Also are you running XP Pro or Home?

It show up in the device manager and doesnt have a red x or a yellow caution symbol. Im running XP Home SP2

Ah, XP Home does not provide native support for the MCE remotes. There is a couple files you need to copy over from a pro machine if I remember correctly.
