HAs anyone experienced channels being switched in the middle of a recording, this never happened in previous versions, I just upgraded to 0.98.8. Is there something i should check, I have a PVR500, I checked and double checked channel lineup under capture sources. The thing is, the switching channels occur randomly and not with all recordings, and I know only when I watch the recordings which can be several days later.

Has nobody experienced this?

Anyway, I noticed that this happens when a second recording starts, it actually switches the tuner to the channel of the second recording, but continues only to the time length of the first recording.

Please help, am missing a lot of shows bec of the switching

I've not seen any other reports of it.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach a set of logs with a descriptions of what shows/times it was meant to record, and I'll take a look.

I have attached gbvrrecordingservice.log in a zip file. I opened it and I found these lines:

Could this be it, as this was the show that was not completed and shifted from "Entourage" to "CSI" on the same file

I may have made a mistake, PVR500 tuner 1 should be capture device #1 and tuner 2 should be capture device #2. If so, I think I incorrectly put both to capture device #1.

Yep, that'll be your problem.
