german in weather module

Hi,

is it possible to have the weather module completly translated to german ?
I meen not only the buttons, that i can handle in the language.xml, more
the text which it grabbs from the weather website ...

Mhm, seems something has been changed. Not long ago the config worked fine.
But you can do another thing: You can add in the language.xml all used english words manual and translate them by yourself. This works too!
Don't miss the "german" translation button; the translation was awful... ^^;

I have an update that fixes the transaltion, but it just uses google's translation function so it may well be awful. I'll try to post the update over the weekend.

I believe the config utility does not support other languages than English at this time. (I could be wrong).

I believe MixMan is compiling new language files, I don't know if the "Language Plugin" has better translations than what is in GB-PBR at this time.

as i wrote in my first post in this thread ... not the translation of the buttons
and for some reoccuring words is the problem .... the detail text can't be translated
via language.xml ... it's too much ....

hope the fix from jeff will do it ... but why translate it via google ?????
the weather plugin gets the data from weather.msn.com, right ?

e.g. Bremen, Germany in german :

and english :

on the german site everything is translated correctly ... isn`t it possible
to grab from this site, for a german user ?

I will think about this in the fure, but it is a big change. Much of the code is based on pulling apart the web site and matching text strings. These would all be different in the German page. For now, I've posted an update no the wike site that reenables the (crummy) google translations.
