Hi All,
So I'm having a terrible time coming up with the "perfect combination" of decoders that will allow good playback for all files. I have two ATSC tuner cards, so I record from those in dvr-ms file format, and from my analog card in mpg format. It seems that no matter what combination I select, I either have good playback with the HDTV files, and bad playback with the mpg's, or vice versa (basically get "ghosting"/"trailing" on my mpg's when I have dxva turned on, but that's the only way the the HDTV files will play smoothly -- I've tried converting my dvr-ms files to mpg with no luck).
So my question is this, how hard would it be to create a utility/plugin that would use a different decoder based on the file extension? I have a fairly good programming background, so if it's conceptually possible, I think I could handle the programming.
Thanks
