Is there a way to schedule FM recordings within GBPVR? I am not always near a radio when some specials come on during the day, and I would love to record them.

Sub - is this something you don't care about or just haven't gotten to?

Since you asked... Its not something I'm interested in. If I run out of other stuff to do, I might implement support for it one day - probably no time soon.

This would be fun to have, esp. since I don't know of any tool to do it otherwise. Oh well.

For the OP, this has come up a couple times lately, one solution I'm going to try (as some of the things I want are available on NPR via shoutcas here and there) is mentioned here:

I guess you could do it with WM Recorder: http://www.wmrecorder.com
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

This could be a good first plugin for me if I get around to it. Sub, would a plugin have enough tools available for scheduled FM recordings?

You might also be able to use something like this to write a plug-in to record net radio streams. http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/

Thanks all for the replies.

ALthough not GBPVR enabled, I might have found something that will do what I want called SnapTune. http://www.snaptune.com/ Described as Tivo for Radio. It supports the Hauppuage devices that I own.

I'll try it out when I get a few minutes.. and wait for those more experianced than me write that plugin :o
