Volume Button is changing channels

I have a hauppauge 45 button remote. I recently discovered having gb-pvr control the remote directly and no ir.exe running. However when I do this, the volume button on the remote now changes channels, just like the channel up/down button.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to adjust what buttons do what when letting hauppauge directly control it? Do I still use the irremote.ini file at all?

No, the irremote.ini is not used at all when you do this, and no, it is not configurable at all. Which capture card do you use?

I've made a change that should help this. I havnt been able to test the 'direct access to hauppauge remote' feature in about two years (since I installed a PVR150), so cant check it myself., but it should work. It must have been this way a very long time.
