Prior to 98.13 when I pressed mute (MCE2005 remote) I went back to the main menu with what ever I was watching in the inset window. This was a nice visual reminder that the volume was muted. Often I would use this time (commercials in live TV - Yuk) to browse my recordings or the EPG.

Now at 98.13 the volume mutes and the playback remains full screen.

Just curious - was this deliberate with the new OSD?
Or do I have (had) a glitch?

Because my volume adjusts my amp I haven't seen the new volume OSD. Or should I see something for mute?

Cheers.

This was an accident and never meant to happen, and was corrected in v0.98.13.

Currently the mute key doesnt nothing. I had started implementing support for it, but due to the release IE7 the timeline changed and I had to get a release out reasonably quickly. I'll probably finish implementing support for mute in the next release.

Cool - thanks.

Do you anticipate adding mute to the OSD?

Yeah, I'd guess so.
