On-screen button app?

I wonder if someone have seen a program that let me define custom on-screen buttons. I had hope to find something that has the look and feel of GBpvr.
I want to assign a button on the remote to call up this app with a set of virtual buttons, it would be great if it could context sensitive so that LiveTV has on set of buttons and Video has another.

Any ideas?
