MY cable company recently got purchased by another so I had to change my line-up. I changed my zp2it account lineup. I then went to both of my capture sources and removed each channel and emptied the EPG. I then exited config and updated the EPG. It re-adds all the new channels but some of the old channels are still there. I once again deleted all the channels from the capture sources and emptied the EPG. I closed config and re-oped it and went to the Channel tab and those "rogue" channels are still there. I was expecting to not see any channels. Anyone have any ideas?

The easiest way to fix it is to remove both your capture sources and recreate them.

I'm guessing you've got recordings that refer to these channels then (in the Recordings screen)?

Not, while they're still referenced. If you delete those recordings, then the channels can be removed.

That said, if they're not listed in a capture source channel list, then they wont be shown in the TV Guide, so they shouldnt get in your way at all.

I will see if I can renumber those old channels as they have the same channel numbers are the new ones. So when I re-import my new lineup, it does not add the channels that are already listed. So effectively I get all the channels minus the ones that are "left over', then I get the left over channels in the guide. So there are extra channels and they are not in order

I cant remember for sure, but I thought the US/zap2it channels have the channel number prefixed as part of the name, so if they change the channel number the new channel name should still be unique. If this is the case, the only remaining hassle is their preferred channel numbers will be already in use (by these old still-referenced channels), but this should be able to be fixed by changing the channel numbers.

After I renumber the current(old) channels that would be duplicates of the new ones and the re-imported all is well again. Thanks sub for the help.
