Can I ask why?
Just because I dont want to. Its not part of my "vision" of GB-PVR.

You already have some control over the priority, based on the order of the capture sources in the config app. GB-PVR will favour the top of the list for recordings (working its way down), and the bottom of the list for live tv (working its way up). These rules are nearly always followed, but there are a few exceptions (back to back recordings, recordings moved to accommodate a live tv viewing session, etc).

What I meant is that I might want to use one capture card for Live TV and recordings and only use the other if the main one was busy. However, now that I think about it more, the only use-case I can think of for this is to compensate for poorer quality on one tuner, but that should be fixed by getting a better tuner. If you somehow mapped NBC HD and SD to the same channel guide channel to avoid duplication, then I can see where you'd want to pick the HD or SD tuner, but I think what I'm seeing here is normally you'd just have two channels in the guide with different tuners capable of those channels, so again it's a non-issue. So nevermind Smile

Thats why I said "some control". I realise it wont meet everyone's needs, but it is enough for most people.

I'm not sure about that but you assign an account to a capture source so all the channels in that account will be assigned to that capture source. If you mix analog and digital channels in one account and assign the account to a capture source, it may try to tune a digital channel on an analog tuner (or vice-versa). I suppose you could enable/disable on the GB-PVR end for each capture source but it seems to me it'd be easier to do it at the zap2it end...it's really not that difficult.

That is disappointing. I have a PVR-150 on cable and another PVR-150 tuner on an OTA tuner so I need to be able to select also.

I don't understand what you mean. I have the same set-up. I set up two zap2it accounts, one with only cable channels and one with only OTA channels. In the capture source setup, the zap2it account with the cable channels is assigned to the cable-connected 150 and the zap2it account with the OTA channels is assigned to the OTA-connected 150. When a cable channel is selected to be recorded it uses the cable-connected 150 and when an OTA channel is selected it uses the OTA-connected 150. How else would you want to be able to select? I guess I don't understand what the issue is...

xmltv allows you to use multiple lineups from a single account with gbpvr.
I’ve just updated the multi-lineup feature in I-xmltv for people who want to maintain a single zap2it account. v1.3c isn’t on the wiki yet, but its available in post #1 of this thread.

I'm interested in adding a second card for OTA digital sometime in the future, so this thread caught my eye. I’ll check into renaming the channels in xmltv files when I get a little closer to trying digital.
