I also posted on page 19. I didn't know if you saw that.

but I did the mpeg test, and it transcoded it to my ipod with out a prob.
it's also not just an ipod issue, if i try to transcode from dvr-ms to avi, it still cuts out the audio. =\

Yes I saw that

I believe you have a mux issue. I tried also and had no audio. Then when I looked into it, I thought I had a mux issue, and had a hell of a time finding the mux

Because I don't use it myself, I may be at the end of looking into it.

Check out the million posts regarding installing Cyberlink Muxer. (and if you can get the muxer let me know, I couldn't)

well, I dunno what is different, but I found that I was able to convert my dvr-ms with a program called Super

It really is a super program!

Super uses either ffmpeg or mencoder, I don't think however you can view the parameters it uses with those programs. That's a pity, would be interesting.

I believe that in order to transcode, it is using Mencoder.

I don't think that I will be adding support for mencoder until I have a lot of time on my hands, or I have a need...

When adding the line to the quene it ok.
"C:\TV INSPELNINGAR\House_20061114_16001700.mpg"
"C:\TV INSPELNINGAR\Trälen_20061114_19302000.mpg"


but when running the transcodeQ.bat file, Zprocess seems to rename the swedish charters to someting else...

I'll see what I can do. It's been a long time since I dealt with alternate character sets.
