When I put my system into standby, I have no trouble with the computer coming back on in order to record my scheduled shows. The problem I am having (and wondering if there is a solution) is that once the machine turns on I cannot get it to go back into standby automatically. I have the windows set for to go to standby when inactive, but it stays on.

Is there a solution to this with GBPVR?

This has been discussed many, many times on the forums. It seems the problem can be almost anything. Do a search for standby or hibernation or sleep. I'm sure you can find many posts with ideas. As a test, you could try shutting down gbpvr and gbpvrrecordingservice (but one at a time Wink) to see if any of those is causing the problem.

Otherwise, as you will find out when you find the right post in the forums, there are solutions with third party applications that analyze the computer activity and forces the computer to standby when the computer has not been used for a while.
