Hello all,

I'd like to tune up my antenna and ampl.
I'd like to watch for signal quality and strength for the channel I select.
I know that gbpvr has live tv signal popup, but I don't know how to get it on my display

thanks a lot.

p.s. I use OTA ATSC HDTV only.
Best Regards.
Mike.

Ctrl-O in live preview tv shows it. It may or may not work with your device depending on the values it returns for signal strength/quality.

After months of happy use I have recently had some recording end prematurely, and the logs suggest some sort of issue with signal strength. (Possibly a bad connection somewhere?)

I have tried a few times to get view the signal strength on the OSD but can't get anything - even with the default skin.

My Twinhan DTB tuners had always shown signal strength when scanning in the config utility.

Is this in the display they this triggered by the blue button during live TV?

Thanks always!

PS.Could someone please post a screen image so I know what I am looking for.
EDIT found one here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...l+strength

Should clarify I don't have a keyboard on my media centre so I use RealVNC to sent a Ctrl-O. I don't expect this should make a difference?

I cant remember if it was exactly the same in v0.98.13, but its something like the attached screen. This is from my Twinhan DVB-S card - you'd need a much higher strength from a DVB-T card.

Note, its only available in live preview mode.

Thanks Sub.

I might hook a keyboard up directly and just make sure that it's not VNC that is causing the disconnect.

Cheers!
