D11-300 Receiver usb-uirt?

I just got direct tv switching over from cable. DirecTV provided me with a D11-300 receiver. I have a hauppauge 250 card that I would like to get working. For some reason my 150 will not show anything I send in to the video input.

I am trying to determine if a usb-uirt will work with this receiver. Does anyone have the same receiver? What do you use to change the channel?

I can't speak for the direct tv STB's, but generally, if IR is the remote control protocol, then the USB-UIRT will be able to control it. As long as the frequency is within the supported range, that is 20-60KHz.

Did you look over at usb-uirt's support forum? I did a quick search, and it seems that it works well with D10-300, but I can't find anything about a D11-300, so... but I didn't look too closely...

perhaps my best bet is check the return policy buy one try it if it doesnt work return it.
