Edit2: I must be a pain in the ass by now, but I just noticed that the new UI keeps throwing exceptions. I keep getting "Error: Method not found: 'Boolean GBPVRUiElements.List.SetSelected(Int32)'." upon trying to navigate.

Whoops! I totally forgot. I've switched to using the latest version of the GBPVRUiElements library. I'll add the new dll to my earlier posts.

Not on the page(s) I'm scraping (if you're referring to the BBC DynSource app). If you let me have the url of a page where it's available, I'll look into it. I'm also on the lookout for the location of any better quality BBC streams. The ones I'm scraping are really naff low-res, low speed streams.

sorry, i'm not too technical in this area, i see a lot of BBC options to select but not sport.

The web site i goto is normallys is this, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/

Its not so important that i would want you to put too much time into, what i'm really watching your plugin/thread for is a way to get internet TV/P2p tv stations streaming to the MVP, this will allow me to get one of those chinese tv stations to stream premiership football to the MVP

The latest version of GBPVRUIElements did the trick. The group-list feature was a nice addition.

Any luck tracking down that bug? There only seems to be trouble with the "CNN - World", "CNN - Business" and "CNN - Special Reports" groups. I'm going to revert to an older version of the CNNDynSource app to see if that's causing the problem somehow. Edit: Reverting to an older version didn't change anything.

All those video streams are blocked for non-UK users. The pages I'm currently using are the only ones I've found that aren't blocked (also probably why I can't get the high-quality streams).

You can already do this if a) the stream can be played using the VLC player and b) you set it up as a GB-PVR "channel" using UbuStream's channel mode.

Turns out that each of those sections contain duplicate station names (Title=) in the PLX file (eg. "International weather update" in CNN - World). I wasn't handling that quite right. The first station was being deleted (correctly) when the second one was imported but the second station was not being added. The attached dll fixes this: [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

(But, be aware that if the PLX section does contain duplicates, only the second version's url will show up. So, if you want both to show up, you'd have to make the names unique (eg "International weather update - 2").

Everything appears to be functioning properly now. It looks like Ubustream 2.0 is ready for primetime.

I did some testing here at work. This meant that I installed GbPVR for the first time and installed ubustream after that. That was a good thing because I found something you really should fix:

#Ubustream does not load as a plugin on a clean install.
I had to install another plugin first (weather-plugin just to test if my theory was correct). After this Ubustream showed up (in both settings and gbpvr).

#Next thing is that I can start a stream but not change to a new one. "Process has exited, so the requested information is not available.". I've reported this before and it worked at home in an earlier version since I noted this the first time.

#Settings: If I go to the wwmp pane (the first time), make the settings I'd like and press "Testimport" my settings isn't saved.

Test done on ubustream 2.0 with patch061128

Difficult one for me to test (I'm not too keen on doing a clean install of GB-PVR at this stage :eek: ). I'm a bit unclear on why being the "first" plugin would make a difference. Anybody got any theories? Which version of GB-PVR are you using? I'm developing with 97.13, testing with 98.08. It would be very helpful if you could attach the gbpvr.exe.log and config.exe.log files from the first time you (unsuccessfully) try to load the UbuStream plugin. (If you can stand to go back through it all again!)

I fixed this bug once and then introduced it again somewhere else. :o Yet another timing problem with killing the process. I'll include the fix in the next bugfix release.

From your PM, I gather this only occurs when using a freshly created UbuStream.xml database. I'll try to reproduce it and let you know.
