Client for other PCs

I'm on a bit of a roll so I'll get my second post on the go.

Is it possible to install some software on a second PC to essentially give the same functionality as the MVP. The second PC would be able to watch videos, play music etc. all from the "server" PC (the one with the big hard disk with all the info and the capture card). Live TV could then be played on any PC in the house from the "server" PC.

Can this be an alternative installation of GB-PVR for the future. A "client" version.

If I have missed this functionality somewhere then please be kind, i'm a newbie of about 2 weeks after buying a PVR-250, seeing the state of the bundled software and doing searches on Google.

i´ve got 2 mvp´s and a videoserver in the basement. a client-software where great for my office-computers.

Excellent idea.

Both SageTV and Beyond TV have client devices that access the main server PVR.

Along with support for the MVP a PC client will allow GB-PVR to offer a truly connected system where one central server can be controlled from any number of devices.

I would definitely use the feature! Great for watching TV from our bedroom!
