Compatiblity with DirectX 9.0C

I installed directX 9.0C as part of another software package on my machine. Then in GBPVR tunning into live TV became very slow and resulted in synch issues. I had to roll back my installation and things came back to normal. Any ideas?

The only issue I'm aware of with DirectX 9.0C is the quartz.dll issue discussed in this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=5600. Most people either went back to an older version of this one DLL or used a patch supplied by Microsoft.
