Viewsat FTA and IR Blaster (PVR150 non-MCE)

Hi all.

I'm new to GBPVR and need to know if there is a way only using the program (GBPVR) and the winpvr 150 to learn the codes of the Viewsat (VS2000) remote to use the included IR blaster, without having to buy another product eg: USB-UIRT.

I have a coolsat 5000. I contacted Hauppauge to see if they would update their irblaster with the codes, and they said they havn't had any requests to do so until I did, and they would look into it. I think one of your best bets would be to contact hauppauge. If/when you do, would you check the status of the coolsat too?

They already included Viewsat in their new beta version of the drivers.. just go grab it from their website and install.

No, I think right now it's just Pansat and Viewsat.. but those were only added after people requested it.. Hauppauge is good about things like that, I'm impressed.. they actually do put in requests.

The guy told me when this version goes out of beta and is released, it will have a working Learning function... isnt that great!

I went to the Happ site and I couldn't find the drivers. Is it the one labeled Beta version 4.0. The reason why I ask is because Viewsat is not listed it is View Star???

About time . The button for 'record' has been there for ages. It took over 8 months for them to correct their UK Sky STB data.
