Freecom DVB-T (x2) question

Hello!

If you can offer some help with this problem it would be greatly appreciated!

I have got two Freecom DVB-T USB sticks, and installed one perfectly. It's mapped about 22 channels, records and displays live TV. I have added the second USB, by adding capture device, using the same XML file (EPG) information and calling the device number 2. When I save the config and then go back into the config to check the settings, only 1 USB stick is displayed in the capture sources.

Any help with this ? I should be able to watch and record at the same time by adding a second Freecom card shouldn't I ?

In theory, yes, it should work, and from your description I can't see anything obvious you've done wrong. I don't have any experience with the freecom sticks, though, so I can't say for sure that it will work with them.

With both devices connected, can you run filtercheck, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

Hi Sub,

Updated to the latest version but still can't get both devices to work. When you try to map digital channels to the second Freecom USB card it crashes and hangs. It may be a Power issue ? so i'm going to borrow a powered USB HUB to check that. I don't think I can run the Log's programme as I can't get both devices setup correctly to give you the information you need.

Will get back to you on this as soon as I can, cheers for the Help and replys so far.

One last thing, If I can't get this to work with 2 Freecom USB sticks, what Digital tuners (to install multiple tuners) would you recommend that work in the UK and pick up all the Freeview channels ?
