Is there a way (without removing and reinstalling the cards in a different switched order), to make the Device #2 become Device #1?
It seems that whatever Device #1 is, that'll be the card the the main Live Tv is being viewed from. Here's the details: I had purchased an MonolithMC dual tuner system which runs MythTV. I was very unhappy with it (and I'm very inexperienced with Linux), so I decided to install XP and GBPVR. All is now working very well, However, the Device #2 is the card that is attached to the Comcast STB and Device #1 is connected to the Analog cable via a splitter. Both cards are Hauppage PVR150, I believe. The one connected to the STB is the PVR150 and the other "looks like" the PVR150MCE L.P. connections (meaning it only has connections on the back for coaxial, none for composite connections like the standard PVR150 does).
Now before someone suggests, (unless this is my only option), that I just switch connections to the cards, I'm trying to keep the quality of the video up by using the composite connections from the STB instead of coaxial.
All that being said, is there a way I can change the registry settings on some other means to switch the Device #'s. If I only switch it in GBPVR config utility, the cards don't receive signal because, I believe, GBPVR takes it's device # info from the OS.
Sorry for the long post, I just thought I should fully explain my situation.
Thanks Much!
