Reproduce the problem, the zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

By default it doesnt use the timeshift mode that provides these functions, instead opting for much faster channel changes (favoring channel surfers like me), but it should switch to timeshift mode (and begin buffering to disk) when you hit the pause key.

Can you also post your GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log files? These were missing from the zip file.

Did you actually press the pause button to enter timeshift mode?

Does a file get created in your live tv directory, and is it growing?

C:\Documents and Settings\day.DDH911\My Documents\My Videos\My TV\live buffering\

I'm actually wondering if its not liking the dot in your username. Are you able to temporarily try creating a c:\livetv and configure it to use that? If it still doesnt work, zip and attach the logs again.

Sub,

I experienced that issue a while back with a homegrown app we use here at work where a user was trying to save something to their desktop, and if their username had a period in it, when the app would pass the full path + filename to the save call, it would freak out and save it in really weird places. The funny thing was, they were all windows calls that did it, so windows itself couldn't cope with it.
