Hi,
I'm trying to setup gbpvr on a new installation with a Flydvb-s card.

All my attempts to tune channels fail with a "no channels found" message.
I can easily tune channels with ProgDvb (BDA drivers) so I know that the hardware should be OK.

Attached are my logs file. I do see the following error message in my log file: ERROR pTuner->get_TuneRequest() failed: 80004002
but can't tell if that's the problem and what it means.

Thanks for any help!Wink

I'm note really sure. Are you using a diseqc switch?

You can ignore that one.

It's the Amos satellite.
I used to be able to tune with a previous version of gbpvr (don't remember which, I think about 10 months old).
I have now reformatted and reinstalled my system (same hardware) and gbpvr can't find any channels.

Unlikely, but I wonder if the amos sat definition is out of date. Try updating "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA\DVB-S\3560.ini" to include the following

[DVB]

Although the sat definition was indeed outdated, the FTA channels haven't moved (they are on 11177,V,8520,23).
Still no channels found....Ive attached the new log files.

thanks!

What do the LNB LOF1, LOF2 and switch stand for?
How do I know the correct settings for my setup?

You can usually read the values off your LNB (Low Noise Block), which is at the arm at the end of your satellite dish. Alternatively if you've got any DVB-S software working, you can probably read the settings out of it.
