Scheduled Recording Changes Mid Channel during Recording

Hello all. I'm a new to GBPVR. Just got a tv turner card.

Twice now on the scheduled recording, (after its recorded the program) five minutes into the program it changes to record a different channel. (Both times its been my channel 12 its switched to.) It hasn't done this every time but I'm wondering why it did it at all. There were no conflicts.

Does anybody have any help? Sorry if this was a topic of a previous thread. If so could anybody point me there.

Post the logs next time it happens and I'll take a look. I've not seen any other reports of this.

Do you have multiple captures devices in your machine?

Are you using a set top box?

I've done a couple of tests and it hasn't done it on those. I used to have another capture devise, but I removed it in place of the new one and unistalled the drivers.

So far its switched channels mid recording twice on me.

I plug the cable directly into the card. I'm not real sure what a set top box is.

I'm using comskip, and I have that log, but its too big to attach. Is that the log you're referring to?

No, I dont need the comskip log.

I'd only need GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log. Post it after the error occurs, and let me know the approximate time it happened so I know where abouts in the logs to look.

I've attached the two logs. The most recent one was the program called the office. It started at 7:30 pm. The recorder starts a minute early. It started on the right channel (5) and then 40 seconds into it, (and it looked like right before the show was going to start) it switched to TNT which is my channel 12.

Accoring to that log, it starts and stays on channel 5 the whole time. Are you sure you dont have some software trying to access the device?

I dont believe this is a GB-PVR problem.

I've had this happen to me lately, a 60 minute recording that switched channels about 45 minutes into it. I "think" I fixed the problem since though. I have three tuners, and I'm pretty sure they were numbered incorrectly. I think I had them numbered #1, #2, #1 ... Not sure though, but if so this may have created the issue.

I also have noticed that if I pull up DScaler on my main machine while GBPVR is doing it's record thing, things can go screwy.

If I have the channel switch occur again during a recording, I will definitely post logs.

How do you number your turners. I had 2 other ones (WinDVR and SnapStream) I just unistalled them to see if that was the problem.
