New Tool: ShowBurner DVD Burning [with menus]

Is there a way to figure out what you are burning to the dvd before you burn it? Like preview what the dvd will look like?

I thought I burned and transcoded a Pink Floyd concert i recorded, but it turns out i burned some other program. I would have known it was the wrong one if I could have seen a preview.

yea, been working on a profile just to say the current list contents..
should be ready soon..by end of week probably..plus a couple other enhancements..quite easy actually..

i'm currently working on making it so you can pick your thumb snap point by setting last watched resume point to where you want the snap...

not going to put in 'auto-delete list after burn' tho, can't tell if it was successfull so will just leave manual delete...
but will add option to save as .iso or dir for saving..

excellent...was actually pretty easy now that i can access the database.. muhahaha
was a brilliant idea on my part...... thank you, thank you...lol
now just go in and watch the video, and stop it when you want a snap to be taken for the dvd...
obviously you'll need this feature to be on, and have a entry in playback_position for that file, and it only searches on the filename,path can be different....
and if no position found,will fallback to the other 2 methods, 5 secs after first commercial end, or 5 minutes if no commercials...

totally easy to get the title shots perfect now...wooohoo!
will release after some torture testing..maybe some cleanup...
also changed the backgrounds and lettering..need to move the highlight square a bit but should release soon..

Also just made an uninstaller!...removes profiles and showburner dir...just run "showburner2.exe uninstall"

Anything special to do for an upgrade from 2.1?

just manually remove old profile lines from config.xml yourself, and delete showburner dir. if upgrading from old version..
[this one will only removes the profiles it puts in...not old ones or modified ones.]
pretty much it...

Can you advise how to uninstall Showburner please?

I deleted the Showburner directory and the burndvd.bat file, but it still appears in transcoder menus.

open config.xml, look for <CustomFFmpegConversions>
and remove the lines below it with [exe="burndvd.bat"] in them...save file...

For some reason, I have not been able to get ver 2.5 to burn a dvd. To attempt to troubleshoot, I have used the menu in GBPVR to setup a new burn, but it never burns.

So now I have tried running BURNDVD.bat from the command line. It gets to the point where it runs AuthorDVD, then I get the following error and the batch file just stops:

missing operand.

Is there a way to figure out where/how this is going wrong and try to fix it?

:eek: oops...i forgot to move the %db% setting to the top of batch cuz now i use it earlier....
so to fix yourself, add "set db=..\gbpvr.db3" to top of file among the other set statements..
will repackage and upload soon as i can..
